# `{ }` — Dfn / Dop

`{…}` defines a function of `⍺` and `⍵`, or an operator when it uses `⍶`
or `⍹`. `;` separates its bodies. When a [predicate](question.qmd) `C?`
is false, evaluation moves on to the next body. The last statement gives
the result. See [Dfns](../dfns.ipynb).
