gclientid is open-source software that runs locally on a user’s computer. It does not operate an AnswerDotAI service and does not send Google credentials, OAuth tokens, Google user data, or usage data to AnswerDotAI or third-party servers.

When the software requests access to Google services such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or Tasks, it uses that access only to provide the local functionality requested by the user. Google user data is stored on the user’s computer and remains under the user’s control. It is retained until the user removes the corresponding local files or database.

Users can revoke the software’s Google Account access at any time from their Google Account security settings. Revoking access does not delete data already stored locally; users can remove that data directly from their computer.

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Questions or concerns can be raised through the project’s public issue tracker.
